In October 2015, American Airlines announced their plans to build a new corporate campus next to their existing Fort Worth, Texas campus. Seven years later, the final addition to the new campus is almost completed, with the conference center and employee hotel scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2023.

A new deal between Delta Air Lines (DL) and startup Joby Aviation could make zero-emission, last-mile taxi service available to customers flying through Los Angeles and New York.

As announced in a statement from the Israel Airports Authority (IAA), beginning on March 31, 2023, Israel will ban the Boeing 747 and other four engine aircraft from landing at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion Airport (TLV) with the goal of reducing noise and air pollution. This is part of a plan to rehabilitate the local environment surrounding the airport. 

After stopping service in January 2017, LATAM Ecuador has resumed its direct route between Quito and Miami with daily flights this winter. LATAM previously operated this route from May 2003 until January 2017. When it resumes, LATAM will be the second airline connecting the airport pairs, joining American Airlines.

South Korea-based startup Air Premia revealed plans to launch operations in the United States in October. The Korean startup will fly between Seoul Incheon International Airport (ICN) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on October 5th. Initially, Air Premia will initially fly this route three times weekly; however, within a few weeks, the frequency will increase to five times per week.

Next month, United States-based carrier JSX will launch a route between Dallas, Texas, and Orange County, California, to add to its network. Currently, JSX serves both destinations from other US cities; the pair will now receive a daily route using private terminals at each airport. JSX will begin service on September 29 from its Dallas Love Field (DAL) base to John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County, California.

Low-cost carrier French bee will commence service between Paris Orly (ORY) to Miami (MIA) in December. Miami is the fourth US route from Paris Orly, joining San Francisco, Newark Liberty, and Los Angeles.

On May 20th, United Airlines new service connecting Newark (EWR) to Bergen (BGO) began, which also marks United Airlines' return to Norway. United last served Norway in September 2016 when it ended service between Newark and Oslo.

Ultra-low-cost carrier Spirit Airlines has officially started service to Memphis International Airport (MEM). The carrier operated its inaugural flights from Orlando (MCO) and Las Vegas (LAS) to Memphis. Flights began on April 20th and will operate daily.
